Started in 2014 by Jay Kreps, Neha Narkhede, & Jun Rao after they left Linkedin where they developped Kafka, Confluent has set a new way to think about data, especially large amount of data and offers the possibility to bring down silos in an organization and become the “central nervous system” of companies it operates in.
